Writing this review to thank Dr. Magnus Jayaraj (Liver Transplant Specialist), Dr. Vivek (Gastroenterologist) for the expertise and their team coordinator Mr. Ramkumar for their support and commitment. My dad was diagnosed with chronic liver disease in year 2023 and we opted for cadaver liver transplant in December 2025 and registered for the cadaver organ. Dr. Magnus and the team ran the required tests, evaluated the reports, and helped us throughout the whole process of liver transplantation. One of the exceptional experience with doctors and staff during pre and post surgery period. Thanks to the marketing coordinator Mr. Pulak Haloi for the kindness and support.

My father is a liver cirrhosis patient, and we have been seeking treatment at GEM Hospital, Chennai. For many years, we received high-quality medical care from Dr. Senthilnathan, Dr. Swetha, and Dr. Magnus. My father’s liver transplant was performed during the first week of April, and he is doing well thanks to the excellent medical treatment and care provided by the doctors and hospital staff. Furthermore, the medical costs were reasonable, and the hospital team’s professional conduct was highly satisfactory. ​The only developmental feedback I would like to offer concerns the cafeteria. The cost of food for outpatients and the general public is quite high. I kindly request the hospital administration team to consider reducing these prices to make the cafeteria more accessible for everyone.

I am Muthu from Pondicherry, an IT professional who was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis final stage in the month of January 2023. I’ve registered for a cadaver for liver transplantation in various hospitals from time to time and waited for the call. In the first year of my diagnosis I was not having many complications but in later days I started to experience the complications like  ascites, edema, blood vomit with black stools, muscle loss, fluids in lungs and weakness. At one period I was even bedridden and I was not able to perform my own day-to-day activities. There came Dr.Magnus and his team as saviours. He strictly said unless you are mobilizing yourself you will not be fit for the operation. He didn’t stop there, he gave various medications, conducted many blood tests, physiotherapy and visited me frequently. In a month’s time I was able to walk and perform my activities. Then the operation took place. Dr.Magnus, Dr.RajKumar and their team performed the 15 hours operation on a fine day in July 2025 and today, one month after the surgery i am writing this and being able to walk without any help and visit him for reviews … I would be forever grateful to Dr.Magnus, Team Doctors, Nurses and Physiotherapists who are responsible for my second life. Now it’s time to restart my happy life with discipline and responsibility ❣️ 🙏
