I am Muthu from Pondicherry, an IT professional who was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis final stage in the month of January 2023. I’ve registered for a cadaver for liver transplantation in various hospitals from time to time and waited for the call. In the first year of my diagnosis I was not having many complications but in later days I started to experience the complications like ascites, edema, blood vomit with black stools, muscle loss, fluids in lungs and weakness. At one period I was even bedridden and I was not able to perform my own day-to-day activities. There came Dr.Magnus and his team as saviours. He strictly said unless you are mobilizing yourself you will not be fit for the operation. He didn’t stop there, he gave various medications, conducted many blood tests, physiotherapy and visited me frequently. In a month’s time I was able to walk and perform my activities.
